Current Configuration

All "bolt-on" parts were built in my garage from scratch.

Thank you, Thermal Dynamics for making outstanding and affordable (compared to "the blue") arc/plasma products!  :D

I plan to add more detailed pictures when I take any of this stuff apart for routine inspection or get a good view of it..

Basics:
    •    1990 chassis with hard-top
    •    130k/mile 1.6L short-nose with no keyway wear. When it needs a Kleenex (it blows), the 1.8L pulled from my other car gets rebuilt and goes in!
Turbocharger/Fuel/Intake/Driveline:
    •    TIG-welded SS log manifold (schedule 40 pipe, engine and turbo flanges plasma cut by hand)
    •    T3-Super60 (0.48 exhaust A/R) turbo flowing into a SS downpipe (starts with a schedule 40 90 degree elbow into 16 ga SS)
    •    Custom turbo "scatter shield" made from 1/8" and 1/16" stainless steel plate
    •    "Lightened" JR cat into a BSP Candoo (that actually fits with new hangers I welded to it, still not sure if it rattles, d@#$ transmission whine)
    •    Home-built VMIC (modified the existing Conquest I/C, yes the mods are really ugly, added BOV flange and AIT bung)
    •    Custom radiator (generic domestic radiator from Summit I TIG'ed new inlet/outlet on)
    •    Unknown "Gimme" 12" e-fan mounted to plasma cut AL fan shroud (thanks to Bill R. for the fan!)
    •    Blitz BOV, currently VTA, to be plumbed back into intake when it gets annoying enough
    •    DIY coolant re-route (gotta love Aircraft Spruce and the local metal recycler for aluminum bits)
    •    Self-assembled MegaSquirt v3.0 board, connected via stock wiring harness connectors (courtesy of Boomslang), Innovate LM-1 for AFR data, Al Hounos VE/Spark maps (thanks, Al), MIL/CEL wired up as shift light
    •    FC3S/T-II Low Z PnP 550cc injectors (thanks, Mike H!)
    •    Barely streetable, most likely unsprung hub aftermarket 6-puck clutch that needs to go away when I replace the transmission

Suspension:
    •    Koni Yellows on GC coilovers (700/300 lb springs, eep!)
    •    RB solid front bar and adjustable end-links
    •    RS Limited 15" wheels, Toyo Proxes T1-S, 195/50/15
